Administration

Stapleton began her career with the St. Joseph School District in 2012, serving as a teacher and Behavior Interventionist before transitioning to the administrative team. She currently serves as principal at Bessie Ellison Elementary School.

Stapleton holds an Education Specialist degree in Superintendency, a Master of Science in Education in Educational Leadership K-12, and a dual Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Cross-Categorical K-12 Special Education, all from Northwest Missouri State University.

Throughout her career in education, Stapleton has worked to build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and families. She is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where every student feels supported and inspired to succeed.

She and her husband, Nate, have been married for nearly 10 years and have twin boys.
